Investment Attractiveness Evaluation of the Irkutsk Region Tourist Sector

The degree work on the subject «Investment attractiveness evaluation of the Irkutsk region tourist sector » is devoted to the study of the factors of investment attractiveness of the tourism industry in the region, as well as ways to increase it. For this purpose, an analysis of the indicators of the tourism industry of the region was carried out, then the potential, risks and limitations of the industry were studied. The localization coefficient was also calculated to identify the key industries in the region and an interview was conducted with a typical representative of the tourism sector in the region. As a result of the study, problems were identified that hinder the development of tourism in the Irkutsk region, and possible ways to overcome them were proposed. The factors that hinder the development of tourism in the region include the seasonality and transit of the tourist flow, as well as the lack of the necessary supporting infrastructure in the region and the poor elaboration of the program documentation. The result of the thesis is recommendations for increasing the investment attractiveness of the tourism sector of the Irkutsk region. These recommendations can be useful to Rosturizm and the Tourism Agency of the Irkutsk region. Key words: investment attractiveness, tourism sector, investments, regional economy.
