Today there is a problem of an STD and HIV epidemic among the Russian population, as well as early pregnancies among adolescents. Also, in general, young people do not have a sufficient level of knowledge about sex and sexual health, receiving information based on personal experience, communication with friends and peers, or from the Internet. The research problem is the insufficient study of the digital environment as an important channel of communication on sexual health, as well as the use of irrelevant and incorrect methods in the study of the digital space as a channel of health communication. The study aims to evaluate social media (Instagram blogs, Telegram, and YouTube channels) as a channel for sexual health communication. The research methodology consists of 3 stages: an online survey for respondents aged 16 to 18, in-depth interviews with respondents aged 18 to 25, a content analysis of publications in thematic blogs on YouTube, Instagram blogs, and Telegram channels.
