My research follows several studies on the comparative analysis of aggregated images. guest figures in Scandinavian and Old Russian written sources. Intercultural Scandinavian-Old Russian interactions and related outstanding literary plots are the most important topic in current research. The subject of my research will be the semantics of the guest figure in the Ancient World. I want to analyze the semantics of the guest image in these sources and define its figurative specifics, that is, the relationship between the guest function the figure and circumstances of the plot.
