Improvement of the Company's Logistic Processes Using Information Technologies

The main goal of this work is to improve the process of replenishing stocks at the regional warehouses of VseInstrumenty.ru LLC with cross-docking supplies using information technologies that ensure control over its implementation. The first chapter of the work will consider and analyze the current activities of the focus company, its business processes, organizational structure, position and opportunities in the market, as well as describe and analyze the logistics activities to find problems and their causes in the supply of cross-docking. The summary of the chapter will be a list of recommendations for their elimination. The second chapter will be aimed at reviewing domestic and foreign literature to identify the reasons, suitable products and business areas, basic conditions for the implementation of the presented concept. In addition, its advantages and disadvantages will be described. The result of the chapter is aimed at confirming the rationality of the use of cross-docking by the focus company and identifying methods, tools and tasks for improving the operations management. The third chapter presents suggestions for improving the efficiency of the company's logistics activities by scheduling, timing, instructions for participants in the process and making revisions to information systems to improve planning and control over the operations of the cross-docking process. The work is done on 136 pages and contains 35 tables, 20 figures and 70 sources.
