Improving the Last Mile Delivery Process

In this paper, a study was carried out to improve the last mile delivery process. When performing the work, the following tasks were set: to analyze the activity of "Avtokomfort"; to analyze the financial and economic activities; to analyze the logistics activities of the company and identify major problems; to consider the theoretical aspects of the reorganization of the delivery process of "Avtokomfort" with the introduction of an online shop "Avtocomfort"; to determine the main approaches to enhance the delivery process "Avtocomfort"; to develop an algorithm for improving the delivery procedure "Avtocomfort" to extend the process of the last mile. In this paper we have analyzed the activity of "Avtokomfort", analyzed its financial and economic activities, analyzed the logistics activities of the company and identified major problems, discussed the theoretical aspects of the reorganization of the delivery process of "Avtokomfort" with the introduction of online shopping "Avtokomfort", identified the main approaches to improve the delivery process "Avtokomfort" and, finally, developed an algorithm for improving the delivery procedure of "Avtokomfort" to expand the range of products.
