This paper presents a study of the connections between the components of mindfulness, self-compassion and emotional processing. A detailed analysis of literary sources on the topic of mindfulness, self-compassion and the influence of these phenomena on the emotional sphere is carried out. It also describes the theory of emotional processing and hypothesizes that there is a relationship between observation, description, and non-judgment with a group of emotional control components mediated by components of self-compassion. To measure the indicators of emotional processing, the emotional processing scale-25 questionnaire is adapted for the Russian-speaking sample. The paper draws conclusions about the nature and structure of the desired connection and about the possibilities and limitations of the use of the Russian-language questionnaire eps-25.
