The Role of Logistics Coordination in the Improvement of the Material Flow Management Performance

Nowadays, the role of logistic coordination is becoming more and more important. When organizing their supply chains, trading companies are becoming more and more attentive to the issues of interaction with their stakeholders, trying to establish trustfull relationships to create long-term partnerships. It is already becoming clear that it is precisely such companies that enjoy advantages over competitors. This final qualifying work examines the current state of the pet food industry, examines typical problems of cross-functional and inter-organizational interaction of manufacturing companies in this industry, identifies the most likely causes of such problems and ways to rationally solve them.
