Statistical Evaluation of Technical Efficiency of IT Companies in Russia

This work provides the analysis of the existing methods of evaluating the operating effectiveness of companies and their applicability to the task of evaluating the effectiveness of IT companies in Russia. The IT sector is one of the most promising and rapidly growing sectors of the Russian and global economy. The ability to obtain objective assessments of the effectiveness of companies could help both economists and politicians in assessing the impact of various environmental factors on the state of the business climate, and businesses in building effective technological processes. The experience gained in different countries, including in the field of regulating the activities of energy grid companies, was chosen as the basis for the study. In this area, various methods of evaluating the effectiveness of certain companies are often used, which have become the object of research. The scientific novelty of the work lies in the extrapolation of the experience gained by the scientific community in evaluating the effectiveness of companies to companies in the IT sector of Russia. The purpose of the work is to assess the applicability of specific methods and models in this area and to study the factors that affect the effectiveness of Russian IT companies.
