Analysis of Interaction between Banks and Insurance Companies

The theme of the Bachelor’s thesis: "Analysis of interaction between banks and insurance companies". The economic activity of any country is affected by the development of the financial sector, including especially the banking and insurance sector and the system of their relationships, as well as their symbiosis - bancassurance. Thus, there is need to evaluate their interaction. This requires a study of the banking and insurance sector. The system of relations built between banks and insurance companies facilitates not only accumulation of monetary capital for both companies, but also to the provision of new products and reduction of costs in distribution of services. Thus, the aim is to study the influence of banks on the profitability of insurance companies in the framework of their joint activities. Based on the goal, the following tasks were set: 1) To consider theoretical approaches to the concept of "bancassurance"; 2) To analyze the reasons for cooperation between banks and insurance companies; 3) To study the forms of cooperation between banks and insurance companies; 4) To refute or confirm hypotheses. The hypotheses about the influence of banks' participation on net profit indicators of insurance companies were tested and also the analysis of the banking insurance industry in Russia today was carried out.
