Legal Mechanisms for Pprotecting Citizens Rights to Social Support in the Russian Federation

Within the framework of the master's thesis, an analysis of the legal mechanisms for protecting the rights of citizens to social support in the Russian Federation was carried out. The purpose of the study is a comprehensive analysis of the legal regulation of the protection of the rights of socially vulnerable citizens, law enforcement and judicial practices in the field of social support for citizens, identifying gaps in the legislation of the Russian Federation and the legislation of the subjects of the Russian Federation in this area, taking into account the trends of its development, making proposals for improving the legal mechanisms for the implementation of citizens ' rights to social support. The objectives of this work include: a definition of the concept and nature of social support as an integral part of the social policy of the state; the Study of the factors of development of social support of the population; the Study of the resolution of disputes in the social sphere and analysis of judicial practice dispute resolution social support of citizens; analysis from the perspective of socio-legal approach of the obligations of the state and the right of citizens to provide social support. The empirical part of the work consists of an analysis of the law enforcement practice of competent authorities and statistical data. The empirical part of the work also includes an analysis of in-depth interviews with lawyers in the field of social security who have experience of representation in court and providing qualified legal assistance to citizens. In the course of the study, the goals and objectives are gradually revealed, as well as recommendations for eliminating gaps in domestic legislation are given.
