Evolution and interaction of the military-industrial complexes of European countries in 1990-2014

This study examines the functioning and evolution of European military-industrial complexes after the Cold War. The central problem of the study is to determine what changes took place in the defense industry of European countries in 1990-2014, what guided these changes and how the region developed in the context of realities of the world arms market. The work has been made within the framework of the theory of transnationalism in international relations. The research will produce a descriptive narrative, comprehensively revealing the features of the functioning of European military-industrial complexes. It includes an analysis of trends in the defense industry. It also identifies the main characteristics of the single European arms market. This study may be useful for the scientific and expert community, as well as various decision makers in politics and business.
