In this paper, based on the method of integrated analysis of the company's activities proposed by the author, the external and internal environment of the airline is studied in order to identify the main areas of improvement of its activities. The analysis is carried out using qualitative methods for assessing the external environment indicators and quantitative methods for studying the internal environment indicators of PJSC Aeroflot. A number of indicators that, in the author's opinion, are the most sensitive to ongoing changes or external influence are studied separately. The aim of the study is to develop directions for optimizing the airline's operations in those subsystems that are most in need of it. The paper analyzes indicators for two different time periods: a retrospective analysis is carried out for the last three years, and a ten-year period of time is used to build forecast values. The results of the analysis show that despite the presence of some systemic problems of the company and a significant negative impact from the external environment, PJSC Aeroflot has a strong potential to overcome the crisis phenomena. The author proposed several directions for optimizing the internal environment, taking into account the identified shortcomings.
