In the labour market, there are different categories of employees who have different advantages and disadvantages in terms of their position in the market. One such group is young professionals, who can simultaneously be seen as more mobile and less secure employees. However, it remains unclear how the young specialists themselves see their situation and whether they identify any significant differences. In this paper, we will try to identify some options for young professionals' perception of their position. The initially assumed advantages and disadvantages were based on the theories considered in the literature review, which highlight the greater mobility of young professionals, as well as indirectly affect their lower security and stability. To achieve this goal, in-depth semi-structured interviews will be conducted with various categories of young professionals. In the future, with the help of open coding, the ways of defining their career as such, as well as the interpretation of their position in the labour market in comparison with other categories of employees, will be highlighted.
