Development of a Module for Semantic Support for Building Management Services

In the course of writing the thesis, the module for creating interaction scenarios among “smart” things with the possibility of adjusting the subject area is being devised. The first chapter provides the analysis of the "Internet of Things" paradigm, ontological modeling and its technical implementation, and states requirements for the module developed. The second chapter describes engineering of the ontology and its verification, the design of queries to the ontology, the architecture of the module and the external system, which the module should interact with, the way of representing work scenarios built in the module, and the module interface. The third chapter represents the development of the module and its testing. Author of the thesis: Nikita Semenov, a fourth-year student of the "Software Engineering" Program at the National Research University «Higher School of Economics» in Perm. Department of Information Technologies in Business. The work includes 3 chapters – the analysis of the subject area, the design, and the development and testing – and 7 applications, containing 113 pages of A4 format. The work comprises 17 tables and 61 illustrations. The bibliographic list consists of 17 sources.
