Development of a Web-Camera Video Compression Application with Varibale Rate

Within the framework of the work, the possibility of applying machine learning algorithms based on artificial neural networks to solving the problem of video image compression has been investigated. The aim of the work is to develop a video compression algorithm that uses information about the content of the video image and the bandwidth of the communication channel. Author: student of the National Research University Higher School of Economics of Perm Chizha Dmitry. Department of Information Technologies in Business. The final qualifying work contains x A4 pages of the main text, including 3 chapters: domain analysis, video codec design, video codec development and testing. The work contains 18 figures and 6 tables. The appendices contain the terms of reference; diagrams describing the architecture of the video codec. The bibliographic list consists of 18 sources.
