This paper is devoted to the iconography of sculptural reliefs of Sebasteion at Aphrodisias in the context of imperial cult and Pax Romana. Chronologically, it includes the period of Roman emperors - from August to Nero. In this paper we analyze the archeological material - it consists of 56 sculptural reliefs. We also examine different plots and motives behind different groups of images based on the typology of Roman portraits. Our research includes three chapters.
