By the study of philosophical vision in the poem by N. Zabolotsky «The Triumph of Agriculture» (1929-1930, 1931) the present paper suggests an analysis of the situation of ‘vision’ and ‘contemplation’, their variations and transitions into each other. Philosophy in Zabolotsky's poetry was understood by researchers of the 20th-21st centuries in the context of the nature-philosophical tradition, but its internal evolution since the 1920s in close connection with specific visuals did not receive proper coverage. It allows us to analyze the artistic originality of the «Triumph of Agriculture» through the prism of 3 thematic layers: X-ray vision as a shift in anthropological perspective, human and animal being in the poem and forms of understanding death.
