Hollywood Masculinity of the Late 20th and Early 21st Century: from “Hard Bodies” to “Sweet Boys”

This work is devoted to the study of masculinity in popular American cinema from 1990 to 2022. It contains an analysis of the key roles of cult actors representing each of the decades, as well as their media images created by the media and social networks. The main features of the "traditional" masculinity inherent in American traditional cinema will also be revealed. The work will be useful as an auxiliary material for studying the history of Hollywood, as well as when writing scripts on current or historical topics.
