Nowadays data is everywhere: customers of online resources create a lot of content and make billions of requests per second on the Internet, applications write logs, machine learning models generate data for training and testing, etc. It is a big challenge to store, fast select, and analyze this amount of data. PostgreSQL is a popular open-source solution for solving this problem. Often database performance depends on configuration settings. This paper proposes a method for choosing optimal configuration options for PostgresSQL to make it work faster using less CPU and memory.
