The study is devoted to the problem of the influence of social networks on the socio-cultural integration of students, in particular Russian students receiving education in foreign universities and foreign students in Russian universities. As part of the study, an analysis of the literature was carried out on the features of socio-cultural integration, strategies for acculturation, and I will define the phenomenon of social networks. An online survey was conducted as a research method. In order to assess the impact of social networks on the socio-cultural integration of foreign and Russian students, a statistical and comparative analysis was carried out. According to the results of the survey, similar characteristics of the adaptation process in foreign universities and universities of the Russian Federation were identified.
