The Influence of Geometric Parameters of Intermodal Passenger Transport Nodes on the Duration of the Transfer

Student: morozova anna

Supervisor: Aleksandr Ryzhkov

Faculty: Faculty of Urban and Regional Development

Educational Programme: Transport Planning (Master)

Year of Graduation: 2022

The work is devoted to the problem of the remote location of stopping points inside intermodal nodes. The overlay of infrastructures of different modes of transport in the urban fabric creates complex planning solutions and inconveniences for users. The duration of the transfer is one of the little-studied, but no less important sections of the daily route of passengers. This problem is considered on the example of TPU in Moscow, geometrical parameters of TPU are analyzed. The research method is network analysis using geoinformation software. This analysis will make it possible to determine the spatial and temporal characteristics of the TPU, as well as generally show the picture of the transfer to the TPU in Moscow.
