Financial Literacy Evaluation with Social Network Data

In modern world financial literacy is becoming acute issue for governments of many countries. This topic is widely explored, however, most of the research are based on questionaries and survey data. Nonetheless, social networks accumulate huge amounts of information, which can provide valuable insights on people’s behavior in general and financial behavior in particular. Therefore, application of network analysis can be highly appreciated to be applied for current research. Thus, in this work we make an attempt to apply recent achievements in Network analysis (Graph Attention Networks specifically) to classify citizens from the prospective of their financial literacy.
