This master’s thesis project examines the process of Sberbank data warehouse migration in flavor to reduce its total cost of ownership and mitigate the risks of exploiting proprietary software and hardware. The first two chapters are devoted to the theoretical foundations of data warehouses and their practical use in the financial (banking) sector, respectively. The third chapter represents main ideas of the data warehouse migration and discloses details of a project in Sberbank (migration from Oracle, Teradata to Hadoop, GreenPlum) The direct participance and responsibilities of Abramov Nikolay in the project captures in RACI matrix on the page 59
