This project is dedicated to the creation and testing of the model of the school volunteer unit "Young Patriots" as a way to implement patriotic education of students in secondary school. Special attention is paid to the preparation for the project - the conceptualization of the concepts of "patriotism" and "patriotic education", the analysis of regulatory requirements for the implementation of work on patriotic education in general education and the practices of a specific educational institution. During the project, a model of the school volunteer unit "Young Patriots" is being developed with a set of accompanying documents, and the features of the progress and results of the project's implementation in the educational process of the school are revealed. In addition, as a long-term result of the project, a program of an additional general development program "Young Patriots" is being developed.
