On 16–20 February the student conference school Information Technologies and Systems. Bioinformatics took place. More than 100 students from HSE University, Kharkevich Institute for Information Transmission Problems, Skoltech, MSU, MIPT took part in it.

Student Research Paper Competition 2022 Now Open at HSE University

The start of a new academic year is an excellent time to plan the next steps in your academic career. On September 1, HSE University announced the start of its annual Student Research Paper Competition (SRPC-2022). Participation is open to students of Russian and international universities and to 2022 graduates. Last year, a total of 2,196 papers were submitted to the SRPC, of which 435 were from external participants.

A competition of research centres looking to receive grants through the Artificial Intelligence federal project has concluded, and HSE University is among the winners. Winning centres will focus on developing new AI technologies that expand its application, overcoming existing limitations for solving applied problems and optimizing AI models.

Genetics of Cardiovascular Diseases Consortium Holds First Event

In early September, the first event of the Genetics of Cardiovascular Diseases consortium - an interdisciplinary forum "Cardiogenetics and Bioinformatics: Realities 2021" - was held at HSE University. The forum marked the start of the consortium after signing an agreement on scientific cooperation between the participating organizations. The forum was attended by heads and representatives of scientific centres and institutes from Moscow, St. Petersburg, Novosibirsk, Arkhangelsk, Tyumen and Surgut.
