Open Lecture on Monetary Policy using "Forward Guidance"
The introductory lecture is a part of the Advanced Macroeconomics course for ICEF MSc students. Students will learn why modern macroeconomics is fascinating, why macroeconomics is essential for finance professionals, and why macroeconomists really need sophisticated mathematical models.

Kevin Sheedy is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Economics of the London School of Economics and Political Science. He has a PhD from the University of Cambridge. His research interests include Macroeconomics, Monetary Economics, Political Economy, and Housing Markets. Kevin Sheedy has publications in Journal of Macroeconomics, Economic Journal, American Economic Review, Journal of Monetary Economics, and National Institute Economic Review.
