MA Programme “Creative Writing” has opened its doors for the first 26 students

Take your pens and sheets of paper and write… Well, tablets and phones can also be used. The classes of new Master’s Programme “Creative Writing” have started, of course, with Creative Writing Workshop. Writers don’t waste time and start with practical exercises. The task is to describe everything around. There are students of MA level, future writers, copywriters, critics in the class who successfully passed all the entry exams. PhD Maya Kucherskaya, a Russian writer, philologist is an Academic Supervisor; a writer and scenarist Marina Stepnova teaches Creative Writing and Scripting.

Students are going to learn the basis of scripting, theatre history, filming and many other courses. They will consistently practice their new skills during the Creative Writing Workshop. Two years promise to be interesting. Russian literature critics Galina Yuzefovich and Lev Danilkin are going to teach Contemporary Literature. Poet, writer and journalist Dmitry Bykov is teaching History of Russian Novel. Philologist Oleg Lekmanov is a professor of History of Russian Poetry. Poet and essayist Sergey Gandlevsky is teaching Essay Writing Techniques, poet and critic Lev Oborin – Book Reviews.
