Hello!

This is the last day! Today at midnight, on December 1 at 23:59, the application period for the 2025–2026 Student Government elections closes. If you’re still thinking about it, now is the time to take action!

This is your last chance to influence life at HSE!

Over the past few days, students have already been actively submitting applications. Don’t fall behind! Remember that Student Government members:

🟦 Truly help students — from advising on rights to assisting with specific issues

🟦 Improve living conditions — dormitories become more comfortable, new coworking spaces are opened

🟦 Inform about important changes — Student Government social media publish information as part of legal awareness initiatives

What’s holding you back? Let’s clear up your doubts

❓“I have no experience” — Great! You will gain experience in Student Government. That’s exactly the point.

❓“I don’t know what to write in my program” — Write honestly about what concerns you in university life. Maybe you want to improve the cafeteria, create more events, help with academics, or protect students’ rights? That is a program!

❓“I’m afraid I won’t get elected” — The main thing is to try! The voting process is transparent, and even if you don’t win, your program will be visible to all students — someone may take notice.

❓“It will take too much time” — You decide how many hours to put in. Start with one body and see how it works.

You can be the force that makes a difference!

1️⃣ Fill out the online form:
🔵 Student Councils and the Council of International Students
🔵 Ombudsman for the Rights of Students and Postgraduates (runs together with the Vice- Ombudsman. The candidate for Ombudsman also fills in the data of their Vice- Ombudsman, with whom they run. The Ombudsman and Vice- Ombudsman must be from different faculties)
2️⃣ Attach your program — make sure it is honest and specific.
3️⃣ Add your photo for publication in groups (the candidate for Ombudsman must also add a photo of their Vice- Ombudsman).
4️⃣ Submit the form.

That’s it — you’re a candidate!

Don’t put it off! When you close this email, immediately open the form and submit your application. Don’t wait until the evening, don’t wait until tomorrow — do it now. This way you will:
✅ Avoid last-minute technical issues
✅ Have more time to write a good program
✅ Start campaigning earlier than others
