The Education and Teaching Methods Council is a collegiate body at the HSE, which coordinates the activities of HSE departments in matters of preparation and improvement of curricula, course programmes, teaching and learning materials, and in dealing with other topical issues of the HSE’s education work.
During its sessions, the Council considers and evaluates concepts for new HSE faculties, schools and departments, as well as new specializations and original courses.

- International Relations and Regional Studies
- Linguistics, Philology and Journalism
- Philosophy and Cultural Studies
- Political Science
- Psychology and Education
- Theoretical Mathematics
The Boards monitor and analyze teaching and learning in the appropriate HSE departments and programmes; evaluate the level of new programmes; coordinate the curriculum between different departments; supervise the quality of syllabi, study teaching materials and their practical application.
