On 9 December 2025, as part of the 7th International Conference “The World Majority and the West amid Geo-economic and Civilizational Transformations,” a session of the section “World Majority: A View from South Asia” was held. The session was organized by the School of Regional Studies of the Faculty of World Economy and International Affairs, HSE University.

On April 17, 2025, as part of the Oriental Studies section of the XXV Anniversary Yasin (April) International Academic Conference on Economic and Social Development (YAС), the School of Regional Studies of the Faculty of World Economy and International Affairs at the National Research University Higher School of Economics (HSE University) organized a keynote address by Archana Upadhyay, Professor at the Centre for Russian and Central Asian Studies, School of International Studies, Jawaharlal Nehru University.

On October 29, 2024, as part of the VI International Conference “The World Majority towards a New International Order”, held in partnership with the Institute of Oriental Studies of the Russian Academy of Sciences, a session titled “Asian Countries on the Path to Digital Transformation” took place.

In September, the HSE Institute for Statistical Studies and Economics of Knowledge hosted an international working meeting with representatives from Brazilian, Egyptian, and Indian think tanks. The participants discussed opportunities for cooperation, including joint surveys, comparative studies, databases, and publications on foresight, technology, and innovation. It was also decided to draft a multilateral agreement to establish the BRICS Foresight Association.

Today, first-year students of our program - Maria Antasheva and Nikita Terekhin - agreed to devote time and share their experience in the selection for the Combined Master's-PhD track

On April 13, 2023, an open online seminar was held at the Faculty of World Economy and International Affairs within the framework of the project "India and the challenges of Global Politics", which was devoted to the Three Decades of India’s Economic Reforms.

Dr. Olga Solodkova and Dr. Olga Kharina participated in the Festival within the framework of the Indian line and organized a number of events dedicated to India.

In autumn 2022, a series of three webinars that presented the study of human capital from different angles based on big data mining was launched by the Institute for Statistical Studies and Economics of Knowledge (ISSEK) of the Higher School of Economics at the Human Capital Multidisciplinary Research Centre. The speakers shared their experience of working with big data in different languages, including Chinese, and also demonstrated a wide functional range of the iFORA system through the prism of studying human capital and its components.
