Coordinates activities of the Research Laboratory for Economics of Innovation and the Research Laboratory for Science and Technology Studies, HSE Institute for Statistical Studies and Economics of Knowledge.
Provides support to foreign and Russian research staff of the international research laboratories. Coordinates employment procedures.
Interacts with administrative departments of the Higher School of Economics: Human Resource Department, Office of International Relations, Financial Department, etc.
Coordinates academic mobility at the HSE Institute for Statistical Studies and Economics of Knowledge. Provides all necessary support in organising business trips of research staff and visits of foreign scholars and experts.
Organises research events of the HSE Institute for Statistical Studies and Economics of Knowledge. Provides full support for foreign participants of the events, incl. travel arrangements, visa issues, accommodation.
Coordinates preparation of annual and interim reports of the international research laboratories within the framework of the Basic Research Programme and Global Competitiveness programme. Interacts with other responsible departments, incl. Basic Research Centre and International Laboratories Management Support Unit.
Organises open calls for research projects of the HSE Institute for Statistical Studies and Economics of Knowledge. Interacts with participants and provides necessary support.

Innovations: a New Elective Course
In April a new all-university elective course on Science, Technology and Innovation: Analysis, Strategies and Policy will be launched at the HSE. It will be delivered in English by leading HSE international professors as well as some visiting experts. Dirk Meissner, Deputy Head of the HSE Research Laboratory for Science and Technology Studies, and one of the authors of the course, told us more about the course, its structure and specifics.
