Temporary Changes to the Operation of HSE Campus Buildings

© Daniil Prokofyev

HSE Vice Rector Vladimir Samoylenko has signed an order ‘On the Introduction of Additional Measures to Prevent the Spread of Coronavirus Infection’.

The order includes changes to the working hours of HSE campus buildings. HSE buildings will now be open Monday through Saturday from 8:00 AM until 11:00 PM and closed on Sundays. Rooms designated for group gatherings, such as student coworking areas, teaching staff offices, professor clubs, gyms, and more, will be closed.

The new measures will also affect the operation of the HSE library. The reading room will be open from 10:00 AM until 9:00 PM, and capacity is not permitted to exceed 50 people at any given time.

Campus dormitories will be open from 7:00 AM until 11:00 PM, and non-resident guests are no longer permitted to enter the buildings. Dormitory residents who have been absent from their dormitories for more than 24 hours will be questioned about possible contact with people who have visited places with high levels of infection.
