With the improving outlook regarding the COVID-19 pandemic in Moscow, beginning September 1, 2021, university staff will be returning to their offices. Exceptions will be made for employees who have permanent remote work arrangements at the discretion of their immediate supervisor. A document formalizing this change has been signed by the rector.
Staff members over 65 years of age and those who have chronic health conditions (as specified by the Moscow Department of Health) will also start working on-site.
Heads of the university divisions should indicate which employees will be working remotely on a permanent basis, assuming that their jobs do not require presence onsite. Lists with the names of such employees should be approved by those with relevant authority and sent to the HR Director via the electronic document management system ('SED').
