For two weeks in November, 2016, Sofia Dokuka worked with the research group of the Department of Humanities, Social and Political Sciences (Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich) to collaborate on a project on the dynamics of study performance and social networks.

Researchers Observe a Gender Gap in the Gig Economy
Researchers from the HSE University Institute of Education have studied data on the work schedule of teachers in an online English-language school and have shown that women aged 25–35 work less than men. This is connected to lower workloads in the evenings. The article ‘Women in gig economy work less in the evenings’ has been published in Scientific Reports.
What Do Digital Traces Have to Offer for the Study of Psychological Wellbeing?
The round table on ‘Psychological Wellbeing in the Digital Age’ brought together a range of scholars and one industry professional to talk about how a user’s digital footprint—or ‘digital traces’—can be used to discern a person’s psychological state, predict their behavior, and, potentially, even improve their psychological wellbeing.
