The course provides a theoretical presentation and hands-on experience with the methods and systems to support individual and group decision-making in professional activities. The purpose of this course is to study the development of the foundations of decision theory, models and methods of modern decision support systems.

Annotation of the course "Models and methods for supporting decision-making systems"

The aim of the course is to study: the modern methods used in support of decision-making and project design technology; purpose, types and classification of decision support systems design solutions. Practical skills for justifying the choice of methods to support the adoption of design solutions in specific situations, to develop a set of criteria for the tasks of making design decisions on the application of design methods for supporting decision-making, as well as the terminology used in the theory of decision-making and project development methods of decision-making systems.
