After the registration

After the registration in the IPW participants’ form we will send you information about the following issues:

1) Accommodation - the list of recommended hotels, which provide a discount for IPW participants.

2) Visa - the link to another electronic form, where you should fill out the information for the visa invitation and attach the scan of your passport. In order to issue a visa invitation we need your passport details and to know the city in which you will be applying for visa. We will kindly ask you to fill the visa form by mid-April.

Useful information about the visa procedure

In most cases, we expect the visa invitations to be ready within 3-4 weeks.Please kindly keep in mind that typically visa centers and consulates take visa applications not earlier than 90 days, and so please leave at least 2 weeks for the visa processing.

You will be sent an invitation for humanitarian visa, which is intended for visits with the aim of establishing and developing academic and cultural ties.

To apply for Russian visa, please find your local Russian Consulate (use the interactive map on the website http://www.mid.ru/en/main_en) or Russian visa centre.

We kindly ask you to clarify the list of the documents for humanitarian visa at the consulate or visa centre. 

Also please be informed that passport must be valid for a minimum six months after the visa expiry date and have at least four blank two-page spread to paste the visa, arrival, and departure stamps in it.
