Open Doors Competition Gives International Students Opportunity to Study in Russia

Registration is now open for the Open Doors: Russian Scholarship Project, Russia’s first competition for international students applying to Master’s programmes. With registration open until January 15, 2018, the competition consists of two remote stages: a portfolio contest and an online contest. The first stage will take place from December 1, 2017 to January 15, 2018.

Reflections on the HSE Preparatory Year Programme

Preparatory Year programme at HSE aims to help students learn Russian language in order to subsequently apply to Russian-taught Bachelor’s and Master’s programmes at HSE or other Russian universities. Two recent graduates of the programme share their impressions.

How to Transfer to HSE

December is one of the two months during the year when students can transfer to HSE from other academic institutions. To facilitate this process, HSE has introduced an online servicefor those seeking a transfer.

Admissions Made Easy for International Students: 2018/2019 Academic Year

On November 15, international student admissions for undergraduate and Master’s programmes opened. This year, prospective students can apply to two programmes simultaneously. They’ll be able to track the application process online in their personal profile on the HSE website where they will receive notifications on the stages of their application’s review and decisions by the admissions committee. The documents for visa invitation can also be submitted there.

Starting from 15 November international students can apply online to study at HSE and Faculty of Economic Sciences. Deadline for full scholarship application is February 28, 2018

Society of Orpheus and Bacchus Perform at HSE

At Yale, a Glee Club is an essential part of the university tradition. There are three groups there: the The Whiffenpoofs is the oldest choir, founded in 1909, the Yale Russian Chorus, and finally, the SOBs – the group with the most unusual repertoire, and who recently came to Moscow to perform at the Pushkin State Museum of Fine Arts and also at HSE.
