This programme prepares graduates to meet the high standards set by leading international universities. It trains statistical economists to think both analytically and creatively, and to provide statistical support in management decision-making processes in the economical, business and social spheres. The professionalism of future graduates is enhanced by fundamental training in economic theory, mathematics, international methodology of socio-economic parameters, the theory and practice of statistical analysis, and econometric modeling and forecasting. Statisticians are among the most highly sought-after professionals in developed countries.

Registration is now open for the Open Doors: Russian Scholarship Project, Russia’s first competition for international students applying to Master’s programmes. With registration open until January 15, 2018, the competition consists of two remote stages: a portfolio contest and an online contest. The first stage will take place from December 1, 2017 to January 15, 2018.
