o    In the CIS countries, the number of men surviving to the age of 30 is from 974 to 991 per 1000 of those surviving to the age of 15, for women - from 990 to 997

o    Mortality among young people aged 15-29 in the CIS countries is declining, but remains relatively high, especially among young men in Russia

o    Among the main causes of death of young people in the CIS countries, the most frequent are external causes.

o    Mortality of young people as a result of suicide in some CIS countries exceeds mortality from all types of transport accidents
