Degree Programmes Department

The structure and content of student learning at HSE can be understood by examining the University's own educational standards, the curricula of educational programmes, the course catalogue, and the opportunities available for students to design their own individual learning paths in areas that are important and interesting to them.
Detailed information about HSE’s educational programmes can be found on their respective websites, which we monitor regularly. We are also responsible for planning, coordinating, and maintaining the class schedule and academic calendar, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information on lecture timings, holidays, and key academic dates for both students and faculty.
The HSE Academic Handbook, along with instructional materials on the use of the Learning Management System (LMS), SmartLMS, and the electronic scheduling system (RUZ) provided by the Department Service Centre, helps both faculty and students understand the key aspects of the academic process. If there are any questions, our administrative staff are always available to assist.
HSE offers a diverse array of programmes in fields such as logistics, IT, software engineering, advertising, world economy, politics, law, design, and more, across both Bachelor's and Master's levels. Programme management operates on two levels: academic and administrative. The academic supervision is handled by the programme’s academic supervisor and academic council, while administrative matters are overseen by the programme’s designated office.
Since January 2022, service centres have been integrated into the structure of the Degree Programmes Department. Student Service Centre provides services to HSE University students and alumni through an electronic one-stop service. The Degree and Microdegree Centre is responsible for matters related to the personalisation of student learning paths, including managing course selection campaigns. Department Service Centre offers methodological and technical support to faculty, departments, and programme offices across all areas related to the preparation and organisation of the educational process.
