Course Syllabus
Abstract
During the course Agile approach in project management students will study two main methodologies: Scrum and Kanban. The course will provide students with differences between an agile and waterfall approach in project management, benefits of that approach, and practices of implementation of that approach not only for IT projects, but for industry sectors from innovative services to heavy industries and large-scale manufacturing.

- Тема 1. Введение в гибкие методы управления проектами и продуктами.
- Тема 4. Scrum фреймворк и метод Kanban.
- Тема 6. Переход организации к Agile – выбор, пилотирование, масштабирование, трансформация.

Assessment Elements
- Task 1. EssayEssay on one of following topics: Agile is, Scrum is, Kanban is. • One-page self-thoughts about chosen topic. • Reveal the main points and differences.
- Task 2. Project realisationMake a team (3-5 people) and organize development process using Scrum or Kanban framework. • Unite people in one team. • Chose product for development (it could be product from previous courses). • Chose Agile framework. • Distribute a role in the team.
