Course Syllabus

Abstract

The seminar is designed to facilitate the integration of master's students into the academic environment of the university. Students will learn about the system of compulsory courses and elective courses in the Master's program "Applied Social Psychology", the choice of educational trajectory and direction of research. The seminar will present current issues of modern research on the "Social and Cross-Cultural Psychology" as well as possible topics for master's theses and contacts of scientific supervisors. Special attention will be paid to specifying the scientific interests of students, as well as techniques for analyzing scientific literature and standards of academic work. During the course, students will complete a number of individual class activities and hometasks aimed at developing their personal learning path and making a choice of the topic of the master's thesis more reasonable and deliberate.
