Audience Dynamics of Russian Cinematograph in Period from 2000 to 2012

<p>In this research, I will analyze the dynamics of Russian cinema movie audience from 2000 to 2012, as well as the dynamics of the television audience watching Russian films.</p><p><strong>The aim&nbsp;of this research</strong>&nbsp;is to analyze the dynamics of the Russian cinema audience in modern society and to identify the central factors, trends and patterns of Russian audience transformation.</p><p style="margin-left:-8.5pt;">If we want to achieve this aim, we need to execute the following <strong>tasks</strong>. They defined the logic of the research and its structure:</p><p>1.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Determine the concept of cinema audiences</p><p>2.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Study the basic research methods of cinema audiences</p><p>3.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Describe scorecard audience</p><p>4.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Consider the establishment and development of Russian cinema audience research</p><p>5.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Analyze the concept of the dynamics of modern Russian cinema audiences</p><p>6.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Identify trends in the development of Russian cinema</p><p>7.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Analyze the dynamics of the volume and structure of the Russian cinema audience</p><p><strong>The object of the research</strong> is Russian cinema audience. <strong>The subject of the research is </strong>dynamics of the Russian cinema audience.</p><p><strong>The main hypothesis of the research: </strong>Audience Dynamics of Russian Cinematograph is associated with quality and value content of Russian movies.</p><p>The theoretical and&nbsp;methodological grounds&nbsp;of the research&nbsp;were&nbsp;the theoretical development of domestic and foreign authors in the field of cultural studies, philosophy, communication, art, film and culture. Methodological basis of research is a systematic and analytical approach. &nbsp;In research were used methods such as general science (analysis, synthesis, generalization, comparison) and special techniques (statistical analysis of the data content).</p><p>The empirical research base contains the most cash Russian films between 2000 and 2012. Data portal www.kinopoisk.ru, data and research centers &ldquo;Romir Movie Research Group&rdquo;, as well as to study the dynamics viewership base amounted research group TNS data from 2000 to 2012.</p><p>Scientific novelty of the research is to identify the main trends in the transformation of the Russian cinema audience in modern society.</p><p>The main results obtained in this research:</p><p style="margin-left:54.0pt;">&middot;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Before 2004 year (before the release of &quot;Nochnoy Dozor&quot;) Russian films virtually no interest the Russian audience. It is believed that this film has lured the Russian audience in the cinema.</p><p style="margin-left:54.0pt;">&middot;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; The main core of cinematograph audience - viewers under 30, students and people with higher education.</p><p style="margin-left:54.0pt;">&middot;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; The most popular genre in Russian cinema audiences is comedy.</p><p style="margin-left:54.0pt;">&middot;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Low popular Russian films due to the lack of confidence in the Russian audience to new pictures and more competition from foreign films.</p><p style="margin-left:54.0pt;">&middot;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; The absence of communication with the audience in Russian films.</p><p style="margin-left:54.0pt;">&middot;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; The creators of films are no studies that viewers want to see themselves. The gap between the film and the target audience for which it was designed, very large.</p>
