Educational Programme: Specialist

Year of Graduation: 2014

In this work we consider the mathematical model of the Penning trap. We study the behavior of a single charged particle inside such a trap in the resonance case 2 : (-1) : 2.

In the case of the secondary resonance k:l=1:1 the averaged hamiltonian was calculated. It was proved that it doesn’t depend on the creation and anihilation operators.

For the resonance k:l=0:1 the irreductible hermitian presentation of the secondary resonance algebra was derived and, moreover, it appeared that all the generators of this presentation are given by ordinary third- and secondary- order differential operators.

Student Theses at HSE must be completed in accordance with the University Rules and regulations specified by each educational programme.

Summaries of all theses must be published and made freely available on the HSE website.

The full text of a thesis can be published in open access on the HSE website only if the authoring student (copyright holder) agrees, or, if the thesis was written by a team of students, if all the co-authors (copyright holders) agree. After a thesis is published on the HSE website, it obtains the status of an online publication.

Student theses are objects of copyright and their use is subject to limitations in accordance with the Russian Federation’s law on intellectual property.
