Documentary letter of credit in the International Private Law.

<p style="margin-left:1.0pt;">Among mechanisms playing a prominent role in the economic development using of the documentary letter of credit as one of the most reliable method of payment between business entities takes an important place. However there are some problems in the legal regulation of the relations arising in connection with different methods of payment which includes the letter of credit. Bad-fair subjects apply institute of the documentary letter of credit in widespread fraudulent schemes.</p><p style="margin-left:1.0pt;">The purpose of this paper is the analysis of existing theoretical approaches concerning such type of international method of payments as the documentary letter of credit, analysis of the existing national legislation, the international rules and customs, definition of actual problems of legal regulation of the documentary credits, &nbsp;ways of improvement of the russian legislation in this sphere.</p>
