Kierkegaard's dialectical theology ideas in cinematic hermeneutics by Lars von Trier.

Today we are living in a secular society, our life is more comfortable, which a person ever could be able to imagine, practically everyone has an opportunity to come into fruition all his talents and desires, but some philosophical and theological issues are staying controversial and undecided. The idea of the project is to show the critical time in history of thought and actuality of Kierkegaard's philosophical questions today, as well as the possibility to visualize and demonstrate to general public the urgency of the problem.The purpose of the project is to analyse Kierkegaard's existential and theological ideas and to find intersections between his concepts and the modern cultural phenomena such as Danish filmmaker Lars von Trier.

Student Theses at HSE must be completed in accordance with the University Rules and regulations specified by each educational programme.
