Methods of assessment of the human capital in an organization

<p>The topic of the graduate qualification paper of A. Gorbachev is &ldquo;Methods of assessment of the human capital in an organization&rdquo;.</p><p>The purpose of the diploma paper is study of the possibilities of use of various assessments of the human capital in conditions of a small company. The following objectives were reached to achieve the purpose:</p><p>-&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; theoretical perceptions of the human capital and methods of assessment thereof were studied, advantages and disadvantages of those methods were determined;</p><p>-&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; the human capital was assessed using the chosen methods;</p><p>-&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; a program of development of the human capital of a small company was prepared on the basis of assessment thereof taking into account particular conditions of formation thereof.</p><p>The diploma paper consists of introduction, three sections, conclusion, reference list and annexes. The introduction points out topicality of the problem, the purpose of the diploma paper as well as objectives to achieve the purpose. The first section describes in detail: key concepts associated with the term &ldquo;human capital&rdquo;, its main particularities; theoretical aspects, advantages and disadvantages of key methods of assessment of the human capital. The second section describes the company ; the market where the company operates; its competitive advantages; assessment of the human capital of that company is given on the basis of such methods as: the method of assessment of human capital on the basis of production costs; the method of calculation of direct personnel costs; method of assessment of the cost of the HR potential of the company. In the third section a program of development of the human capital of a small company was developed on the basis of study of theoretical aspects of the strategy of development and improvement of the human capital as well as obtained results in the practical part of the research. &nbsp;The conclusion presents findings on the problem studied.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>The reference list includes 16 sources. Annexes include tables containing information received in the course of study of the theoretical part as well as intermediate results obtained in the course of calculations.</p>
