Effectiveness promotion of company's X performance on the basis of its analysis, estimation its opportunities and weaknesses

<p>This research examines the activity of the company X which works in the sphere of power industry in the North-West Federal District of the Russian Federation. The main aim of the study is to provide a set of recommendations to solve the problems found after analyzing its activity. Within this broad purpose the following goals must be achieved:</p><p style="margin-left:53.4pt;">1.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Find out peculiarities of the market where the company works;</p><p style="margin-left:53.4pt;">2.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Describe business processes of the company;</p><p style="margin-left:53.4pt;">3.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Define different problems in the company&rsquo;s activity;</p><p style="margin-left:53.4pt;">4.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Propose solutions to the problems found.</p><p>The analysis of the company&rsquo;s X activity is based on specific managerial methods. PEST-analysis was used for the analysis of macro-environment. Porter&rsquo;s five forces analysis was used for the analysis of micro-environment. Moreover, SNW-analysis and SWOT-analysis were used for the definition of the company&rsquo;s competitive position on the market. Besides this, such data as financial and managerial accounts, human resources&rsquo; conditions, and managers&rsquo; presentations about the company&rsquo;s activity collected during the period of practical work from the internal documents was used.</p><p>Before analyzing company&rsquo;s activity, the description of the company&rsquo;s activity itself and company&rsquo;s circumstances is given. First of all, the description of the market where the company works is provided. Then, the social and economic peculiarities of the regions where the company performs are written. After that, the description of the competitors&rsquo; activity is given and only then the description of the company&rsquo;s X activity.</p><p>As a result of the study, a list of recommendations aimed at the improvement of the company&rsquo;s activity&rsquo;s effectiveness is worked out. In addition to this, carrying out the research, the following objectives are attained:</p><p style="margin-left:71.4pt;">&middot;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Peculiarities of the market where the company works are found;</p><p style="margin-left:71.4pt;">&middot;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; The company&rsquo;s activity is described;</p><p style="margin-left:71.4pt;">&middot;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; The company&rsquo;s activity&rsquo;s analysis is carried out and, basing on it, a list of problems is developed.</p>
