Workflow management system for University computer center

<p>&nbsp;Graduate qualification work is addressed to the problem of lack of automated Workflow Management System of the HSE Perm branch computer center. The research is conducted through the development of Workflow Management System, which is a part of the technical support service.</p><p>Structure of the research consists of introduction, two chapters, conclusion, references and appendices.</p><p>Introduction contains relevance, main aim, object a subject of the research. The main aim is to develop a Workflow Management System for University Computing Center. The object of study are service activities of HSE Perm branch computer center. The subject of this study are functional capabilities and development tools of MS SharePoint 2010.</p><p>First chapter provides a theoretical analysis of the system design and development. Theoretical study was conducted by analyzing the special literature and international standards. Applied research was conducted by computer center employee survey. In the end of chapter there are findings for the study of theoretical material in relation to the research.</p><p>By using the analysis of international standards, requirements of developing system were designed. Functionality of MS SharePoint 2010, which is used for the system development, was highlighted.</p><p>Second chapter describes practical part of the work, which includes the design step and development step of WfMS.</p><p>Too much attention is paid to the practical part.&nbsp; At the design stage, results of current situation analysis in HSE Perm branch were used for main business processes modelling. And finally, class diagram was developed. WfMS development is conducted by using MS SharePoint 2010, ASP.NET, C Sharp and JavaScript.</p><p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; In addition to the design and development stages, the practical part of the research includes creating of requirements list, user manual, system programmer guides and basic algorithms descriptions.</p><p>Conclusion contains of main results of work.</p><p>Practical utility of the research is that its result is system, which is able to integrate with another, CRM system. Together these two systems represent technical support system of HSE Perm branch.&nbsp; This system is able to operate both at the faculty and university levels.</p>
