Defining Factors for Choosing Internationalization Strategy Depending on the Company’s Field of Activity

At the second half of the twentieth century the majority of international trade barriers disappeared. It allowed firms to get a competitive advantage using the internationalization strategies. However, not all the companies became prosperous. To make a successful global policy, a variety of factors should be considered by the firm. The paper presents the problem what factors are crucial while making decision about the type of internationalization strategy depending on company’s field of activity. First, the author defines a concept of internationalization strategy and provides major factors should be considered in it. Than the author examines the real connection between the type of a strategy and the company’s field of activity.
